Last Wednesday, around 11 a.m., a couple of American tourists were the victim of a robbery in downtown Marigot, rue Kennedy. One of the two victims was walking on the sidewalk when she heard someone coming behind her. A young man tore off his gold necklace before running away.
Alerted by witnesses to the scene, two gendarmerie patrols and the Territorial Police managed to arrest the thug, a 16-year-old minor who will have to answer for his actions before the courts._AF
