Air transport: Derogation concerning the tests from Sint Maarten to the Metropolis

0

Since Saturday, January 16, 2021, new arrangements have been made for air travel on French territory.

As a result, antigen-type testing centers are evolving to meet demand in accordance with the new arrangements to provide PCR testing exclusively. During this transition: • travelers to the Metropolis leaving from Juliana airport in Sint Maarten only, may exceptionally present an antigen test during their travels if it is not possible for them to proceed otherwise. However, presenting a PCR test remains the priority.

• From Saint-Martin or Saint-Barthélemy to the mainland, the PCR test is mandatory.

Passengers are also reminded of the obligation to present to the airline, upon boarding, a declaration on their honor attesting that they do not show symptoms of Covid-19 infection and that they do not have knowledge of having been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid within fourteen days of the flight.
