Air transport: Air Caraïbes on the Aigle Azur list of buyers

0

The airline Aigle Azur's receivership is of interest to many air transport companies, in particular Air Caribbean, which is among the 14 takeover offers submitted on September 9.

If Air France has submitted a partial takeover offer from the defunct Aigle Azur, by proposing to take over the medium-haul sector and 800 employees, or 70%, out of the 1150 and by contributing 15 million euros, the Dubreuil group, which is the majority shareholder of Air Caraïbes, confirmed last Thursday that it is also ready to inject 15 million. On the other hand, it would be the long-haul sector that would interest Air Caraïbes, which would employ 106 employees. Air Caraïbes, like Air France, did not provide details on the content of its offer. The offers of these two airlines still leave 150 people in total uncertainty. The company Aigle Azur benefits from 9800 slots, time slots, annual at Orly airport, hence the interest for carriers to want to benefit from it. _RM
