Organized by the “Dream of Trail” Association, the second edition of the Trans Soualiga brought together last weekend, during the three events (50 km, 22 km and 15 km), 179 competitors, all categories combined.
The 50 km queen event was won by Willy Vaitilingon in men in 6 hours, 10 minutes and 4 seconds. He broke the 11-minute record of Grégory Pingeon who had achieved 6 hours, 21 minutes and 25 seconds in 2016.
For women, still at 50 km, Céline Verdonck won in 8 hours, 51 minutes and 4 seconds.
Congratulations also to all the other competitors who showed selflessness and courage to finish their respective courses.
Unanimously, the Trans Soualiga is now one of the biggest races in the Caribbean! _AF
