A beautiful ceremony is organized by the Dream of Trail Association this Saturday April 26 at 17 pm at Friar's Bay Beach Café rewarding all those who have taken part in the five events of the " DOT SXM CHALLENGE ”.
Last January, due to the lack of competitions in Saint-Martin, the Dream of Trail Association decided to challenge the island's runners by offering one event per month for five months. The principle was simple, run the route of the month as quickly as possible. Everyone had 1 month to participate and could start over as many times as they wanted.
“We are happy to count 250 participations on this 1st Challenge dispatched over 5 months ”, emphasizes Sophie Berthelot. “The island's runners competed against each other on short courses, varied and intense in difficulty from a distance of 3 to 4km with an elevation ranging from 0 to 450M ”.

The 5 events disputed:
• FEBRUARY: Path of the Froussards
• MARCH : The Grand Fond ravine, the ridges to reach the Pic Paradis antennas
• APRIL: St Peter's ravine
• MAY : Tri Sport Marigot to Tri Sport Simpson Bay
• JUNE: A return trip from Grand-Case beach to finish at the top of Morne Vallois
