Guadeloupe Shooting 18 meters
On this carnival weekend, the archers of the Saint-Martin club welcome within their shooting range, the delegations of Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint Barthélémy for the traditional "Federal of Spring" as well as for the first year, the championship Guadeloupe indoor shooting league (18 meters).
Forty archers compete in a festive, sporting and friendly atmosphere during different competitions and duels at different regulatory distances in order to win the trophy put into play by the Saint Barthélémy team which had won the previous year. .
Last Saturday, archers, from youngest to veteran categories, started the competition with the Guadeloupe League championship at 18 meters.
In the senior men (compound bow), the Saint-Martin, Anthony Lefur leads at the end of the first day with 1 points.
In the senior women (compound bow), the member of the TCSP, Sandrine Berlin totals 561 points against 518 points for her runner-up, Milène Virgile, also from the TCSP.
This Monday, February 8, the archers have an appointment with a federal shooting at 50 meters.
Finally, Tuesday, February 9, a duel (excluding official competition) by teams will be offered to competitors disguised for the occasion. _AF
