During the two weekends of 11/12 and 18/19 May, the TCISM organized, under the chairmanship of Osé Saint-Louis Gabriel and the referee and trainer, Philippe Alonso, a tournament in nomadic formula (two winning sets of 4 games and a 10-point tie-break) bringing together more than thirty players.

The first two of the four pools qualified for a round of XNUMX qualifying for the quarterfinals where the top seeds from the Club awaited them.

The final pitted the young TCISM hope, Wissem Khalfaoui, against the confirmed player, Franck Detering.

Wissem's aggressiveness allowed him to win the first set on a final score of 6/1. The time for Franck Detering to take the measure of his opponent at the start of the second set to lead 2/0, by adjusting his length of ball to finish at the net. The level of the match reached a quality very appreciated by a beautiful parterre of connoisseurs.

Wissem found the solution in the middle of the second set by alternating passings and lobes which had the effect of making Franck back off. This new strategy, combined with a first found ball, allowed him to win the second set 6/4.

At the end of the final, the president of TCISM Osé Saint-Louis Gabriel thanked all the participants, not without a certain emotion, especially after the damage caused by cyclone Irma, while expressing the urgency of finding the lighting of courtyards.

This competition ended with a chicken colombo.

The two finalists were awarded a meal offered by Christian Martinelli, owner of the restaurant LE BELLE-VUE and  the winner received the book "Cop, a profession that kills ..." from Nestor editions given by its author, Pascal Drampe.
