Tasyanna Clifton, Miss Teen Carnival 2017, has just obtained the title Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Queen 2017-2018 in Saint Kitts. Her family, friends and supporters gathered at Juliana Airport to greet her and congratulate her on her splendid victory!
The 38th edition of the Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Queen election took place on Saturday December 30th in Saint Kitts. This renowned election is one of the most prestigious in the Caribbean and annually welcomes around 10 candidates from the region to represent their respective territories. The purpose of this election is to give young girls between the ages of 13 and 19 the opportunity to promote their talents, whether in song, dance or theater, but also in the culture of their islands.
It is the first time that an ambassador has represented the French side in this election. A great opportunity for Tasyanna Clifton to promote her island and share its culture through its various services:
"SxM will smile again", underlines the President of the Carnival Committee, Luciana Raspail.
Tasyanna was up against six regional contenders this year for the title (Eel, Antigua, Barbados, Guyana, St. Lucia and St. Kitts).
To convince the jury, the young Saint-Martin made several performances including: Presentation, Theater Dress, Talent, Evening Dress and Interview. The rest, we know it! Tasyanna Clifton won the coveted title of "Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Queen 2017-2018". Miss low hat!
