Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs said in the press that people who participated in the "Jouvert Morning" on the night from Sunday to Monday will be fined, or even imprisoned.
Silveria Jacobs said police are reviewing the videos and will strongly condemn any revelers who participated in or organized the lawfully banned popular rally.
Firstst Minister also called on all those who know the participants in the region to make sure they self-isolate immediately, as they do not know if they have been infected with Covid-19.
