In the presence of the partners, the sub-prefect Thierry Mahler congratulated the eleven young people who signed up for civic service in Saint-Martin, when signing their contract earlier this week at the prefecture, in Marigot.

Three of them work at the Louis Constant Fleming hospital and eight others carry out missions to the Sandy Ground On The Move Insertion association. “Civic service conveys values. We are asking you for a commitment. These values will serve you in your life as a young person, a future employee, ”notes the sub-prefect. Under the slogan "A mission for everyone at the service of all", this system allows 16-25 year olds to carry out missions of general interest, on a voluntary basis, from 6 to 12 months. _EH
