Gastronomy Week: honey in the spotlight

The 2016 Gastronomy Week is also celebrated in Saint-Martin. It is moreover the Interprofessional Chamber of Saint-Martin (CCISM) which is organizing the competition locally with a star product this year: honey, well known for its healing and antiseptic properties. This competition will take place in mid-November and is aimed at cooks and chefs on the island. “In order to prepare your taste buds today, the CCI of Saint-Martin is offering you local honey at a promotional rate” until Friday in its premises located in Concordia. Note that this culinary celebration is carried by Martine Pinville, Secretary of State for Trade, Handicrafts, Consumption and Social and Solidarity Economy, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture. _EH
