Sargassum: small improvement on some sites

0

Encouraging news. A decrease in brown algae strandings on all of the island's impacted points has been noted by the ARS, can we read in the bulletin relating to the presence of sargassum in the Northern Islands, corresponding to the week 43.

The sulfur gas emanation rate remains low in Cul-de-Sac Bay and Lucas Bay. In the ranking of sites, Lamigeot has returned to green. The points to watch out for - primarily because of the quantity of algae and the proximity of the dwellings - are always Cul-de-Sac bay, the eastern north bay and Lucas bay. In Saint-Barthélemy, the ARS noted a general improvement of all the beaches. However, in the ranking of sites, cove des Cayes and Marigot are back in yellow.
