The COM informs the population that the ceremony of homage to the Harkis and other members of the suppletive formations takes place today at 17 p.m., in front of the war memorial, in the gardens of the Collectivity. "This day was instituted in recognition of the sacrifices made because of their commitment to the service of France during the Algerian war", specifies the government. Established by the decree of March 31, 2003, the official ceremony in Paris, chaired by Kader Arif, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Defense, in charge of Veterans Affairs, will take place in the courtyard of the Invalides.
