European elections mobilize citizens less overseas than in mainland France and it was in Saint Martin that they traveled the least on Saturday with a participation rate of 12,64%, the lowest of all the territories overseas.
Conversely, it is in Wallis and Futuna and Reunion that the participation is the greatest, it is higher than 30% (34,63% and 30,66%).
However, participation is higher than that of 2014 with 335 additional voters for a number of subscribers on the lists lower than 239 (18 this year against 150 five years ago). A total of 18 people went to vote on Saturday.
