Several points were discussed on the agenda, including the lifting of border controls, the synchronization of preventive health measures, the creation of the United Congress of Saint-Martin and the implementation of joint cultural projects.
The discussions were particularly constructive, particularly with regard to the procedures existing on each part of the island and the joint measures to be implemented to protect the populations.
The relaunch of the tourist destination and the airport activity for the next season, as well as health prevention were also discussed and will be the subject of regular discussions. The elected officials also took note of the decision to speed up the process for the creation of the United Congress, which in the current crisis could have been a particularly decisive body.
