French side, the prefect in particular introduced the sanitary pass in restaurants regardless of their capacity and a curfew since last Friday from midnight to 5 am; during this period any movement outside his home is prohibited (with some exceptions). He always submits to the prefecture the organization of events attracting the public.

During a press conference Thursday afternoon, Serge Gouteyron indicated that he had refused the upcoming Tuesday of Grand-Case because the organizers refused the installation of the health pass at the entrance of the event. .

Dutch side, all events are canceled "until further notice" specifies a health protocol published last Thursday by the government of Sint Maarten. The latter did not impose a curfew (ban on all travel) but the closure of establishments and other businesses at 1 am.

This schedule is maintained as long as the number of hospitalizations varies between 4 and 7. If it is less than 4 for two weeks, the measure will be suspended. If the number of hospitalizations is greater than 8, the establishments will have to close at 23 p.m. If it drops below the 8 mark for 2 weeks, the closing time will be reduced to 1 hour.

Thursday, the prefect said that if the Dutch government imposed the closure at 23 p.m., it would advance the curfew in part French.
