What do tourists think of our shops?

Each year, the statistics service of the government of Sint Maarten estimates the satisfaction of tourists visiting the island and staying more than one night. Respondents must decide on several themes (immigration services, cleanliness of the island, taxis, excursions, prices, internet, beaches, restaurants, etc.). With regard to shopping, 39% of people consider the prices charged in Sint Maarten to be "good" against only 30% in the French part. In Saint-Martin, more of them (36%) describe them as “average”.

Regarding duty-free shopping, 36% of tourists consider it "good" in Sint Maarten and "average" in Saint-Martin. They are only 13% to think it "excellent" in the French part against 31% in the Dutch part. (More details on www.soualigapost.com)
