During the night of November 22 to 23 in a house in Saint-Barthélemy, a violent altercation broke out between two roommates, BH and DD. The two individuals have known each other for ten years, they had dated in metropolitan France where they were cocaine users.
The evening of the events, BH argues with his brother before insulting the mother of DD who died several years earlier. DD and the brother lock themselves in a room and hear BH stabbing with a machete. He threatens DD to cut off his head. BH was arrested, placed in police custody and in pre-trial detention. He was brought before the vice-prosecutor and brought before the Saint Martin criminal court on Friday morning. He was sentenced to two months in prison with probation for four months to follow in mainland France. In addition, a ban on appearing in Saint-Barthélemy was imposed, as was a deposit warrant. He was thus transferred to prison in Guadeloupe during the day. This sentence will be the seventeenth on his criminal record.
