PLF 2016: Senator approves credits for overseas mission

0

In the Senate, the senator from Saint-Martin Guillaume Arnell intervened last week in a general discussion on the credits of the overseas mission of the finance bill for 2016.

According to Guillaume Arnell, the credits for the overseas mission seem “up to the challenges specific to our territories, in the current situation”. The senator and his group European Democratic and Social Rally (RDSE) approve the appropriations for this mission. Mr. Arnell welcomes the slightly increased budget “by 0,3% compared to last year, and amounts to more than 2 billion euros in payment credits”.

Overcoming unemployment

For Mr. Arnell, the mission presents “elements of satisfaction, in particular with regard to the credits allocated to development contracts, territorial continuity and integration into employment and training for young people, via LADOM. The objective “SMA 6000”, aiming to reach 6000 beneficiary volunteers by 2017 is in fact significant ”.

Amendment: tax exemption policy

Mr. Arnell tabled an amendment “aimed at widening the tax exemption policy to all investments made in Saint-Martin in the tourism and hotel sector, at a rate of 45,9% and increased at 53,55%, based on the Mayotte or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon model ”.
