Back to school is expensive! The purchase of supplies is a heavy burden on the budget. To meet the costs, some families - with at least one child in school and aged 6 to 18 - can count on the back-to-school allowance (ARS). This aid has been allocated - since August 18 - subject to means-tested. The allowance amounts to: 363 euros for children aged 6 to 10, 383,03 euros for 11-14 year olds and 396,29 euros for 15-18 year olds, according to the government, which is simplifying more and more this device.
