Pétanque: World champion Jean-Marc Foyot and USA champion Angie Gleason guests of honor of the tournament in triplets arranged on Saturday evening at the Boulodrome

The Cariboule club has the honor to welcome tomorrow evening at the Boulodrome de la Baie Nettlé, Jean-Marc Foyot and his wife, Angie Glason, two great pétanque champions with an impressive track record!

Jean-Marc Foyot known as “the Legend” was world champion in 1992, twice vice-world champion, 7 times champion of France. But also 6 times winner of the biggest tournament, the Mondial de la Marseillaise!

Angie Gleason, his wife, was crowned 2019 USA champion in Tête à tête, doublet and feminine triplet just that!

She was also selected for the World Championship in Almeria in 2019 with the USA team.

In advance, the members of the Cariboule club thank its two great champions for their visit tomorrow evening at the Boulodrome.

Concerning the arranged triplets tournament, registrations will take place from 16 p.m., the team draw at 16 p.m. and the stopper throwing at 45 p.m. The commitment is € 17 per player. Drinks will be provided by the Club and for those who wish a meal on site will be offered at the price of € 10 per person.

Note that the last competition of the year 2020 will take place at night, next Friday, December 18, in arranged doublets. _AF
