To the sounds of lively music, picnics with friends or family on the beach will be the main activity of this Easter break. In order to keep the sites clean, the Collectivity calls for good citizenship.
Every year, too much waste strews our beaches after the Easter weekend. Respect our environment. Dumpsters will be installed on the beaches of Galion and Grandes Cayes. The agents of the EME integration company and those of the COM will make campers aware of the need to respect the site. For Easter, two territorial decrees were issued by President Aline Hanson to regulate parking and traffic in the Galleon and to ban all commercial activity on the beaches of the territory, on March 27 and 28.
Galleon: rules to follow
The Galleon road will be one way and the exit will be towards Spring by the dirt road. Motorists will be invited to park in specific areas. Parking on the main road will be prohibited.
Itinerant trade: ban on beaches
It will be prohibited to practice commercial activities on the beaches and therefore to set up stands to sell alcohol, food or any other article.
