Let budding and experienced divers prepare their fins, the 8th edition of the underwater egg hunt organized by The Scuba Shop will take place on Monday, April 18.
The Scuba Shop Easter Bunnies are once again teaming up with the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort to offer their traditional underwater egg hunt. An event always highly anticipated by young and old alike, it is open to everyone, from 7 to 77 years old as the well-known formula says. Toddlers are also welcome as long as they know how to swim and are accompanied by a parent, grandparent or loved one who will not hesitate to dive in search of the magic eggs. Registration will be open from 9 a.m. on site, at the Divi Little Bay Beach, and the opening of the underwater egg hunt will be sounded at 10 a.m. The price to participate in this unique and fun experience is $10 per person. Lower cost since all of the money raised during this eighth atypical egg hunt will be donated to Nature Foundation Sint Maarten. To be part of the Easter divers, it will be necessary to bring a diving mask and a snorkel, or swimming goggles, as well as a bag to collect the eggs found (a net is always best suited) . Don't forget proper sun protection and a good-natured mood. Experienced divers can have a great time, a special division has been set up for them. In addition to the immense pleasure of exploring the seabed while keeping an eye out for Easter eggs, several prizes are up for grabs for the best hunters, such as a weekend stay at the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort, a snorkeling trip with Windward Roads, and other surprises concocted by SunBum, BWA, Scubapro, AquaLeisure, Geckobrands, Shore Support, AquaMania Adventures, Ocean Explorers, SXM Divers, Seagrape Tours, etc. Given the limited capacity of the car park and because it's always good for the environment, carpooling is preferred to get to the eighth Scuba Shop aquatic egg hunt.
