The professional training of taxi drivers and large discount (VTC) organized by the Collectivity of Saint-Martin was given over two weeks, from 08 to 20 April 2019, with Taxi drivers in activity as part of the continuing education or new drivers ready to practice the profession.
Beneficiaries of a transfer operation from a holder to a third party on a permanent or provisional basis (rental, employee) as well as drivers or applicants for a Grande Remise license have thus had the opportunity to follow this qualifying training offered by the Collective .
The objective was to enable taxis and large discount contractors to obtain the certificate of professional competence and to be in good standing in relation to the legislation in force. The content of this training is particularly dense, it deals with both the regulation of the profession, administrative obligations, the Highway Code, but also broad topics such as driver safety, taxation for this type of businesses, accounting and business operations, social security coverage for craftspeople, without forgetting the commercial approach specific to this contact profession. The training was provided by Valérien Niscoise, approved by the Chamber of Trades of Guadeloupe.
