As part of the “Rights of the Child” week, the Collectivity organized, last Saturday, a great sports day through several events organized in the presence of our close neighbors of Anguilla and Sint-Maarten.
After welcoming the delegations and the official opening of the event at the Omnisports hall in Galisbay, the young people joined the various infrastructures on the island to indulge in their favorite sport.
From the volleyball match (U 18 girls) between the selection of Saint-Martin and Sint-Maarten, to the basketball match (U 17 boys) opposing the "Thunderzs" against Sint-Maarten, via the tournament organized by the Tennis-Club of Saint-Martin and the football matches (U 13 - U 15) scheduled at the Thelbert Carti stadium, this day dedicated to the practice of sport was a real and clear success with young people!
