Malongo Cafes (Barista Week): A successful 1st edition across the board!

From November 7 to 12, Malongo cafes organized the 1st edition of “Barista Week”. The opportunity for the general public and professionals in the hotel and catering industry to discover all the know-how of the double French champion of "Latte Art", Rudy Dupuis.

Robert Cheron and Sébastien Portaspan (Kaloa Distributors), and Henry Rodriguez (General Manager of the Malongo Export department) can be legitimately satisfied with the success encountered during the 1st edition of the “Semaine du Barista”, organized in Saint-Martin and on the neighboring island of Saint-Barthélemy.

For the occasion, the Brand brought in the double French champion of “Latte Art”, Rudy Dupuis. Combining know-how and excellence of the gesture, Rudy is a virtuoso of this discipline which consists in drawing attractive patterns on the coffee foam with milk.

The public as well as the hotel and restaurant professionals (note: a nod to the students of the hotel school at Concordia high school) were won over by the demonstrations carried out every day by the double champion of Martinique France in the art of preparing and serving coffee.

The organizers of this 1st edition of “Barista Week”, Robert Cheron and Sébastien Portaspan, thank the presence of the general manager of the Malongo Export department, Henry Rodriguez and the master of “coffeeology”: Rudy Dupuis.

Without forgetting the different establishments in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy who gave a very warm welcome to the representatives of the “Malongo” brand. _AF
