Since last Saturday, the Dutch authorities have been looking for two missing persons during a swim on the beach at Mullet Bay.
The two young people were spotted in difficulty as they swam in the sea before disappearing, said a tourist, witnessing the scene.
Despite an important aerial and nautical rescue system deployed in the area, the two bathers could not be located on Saturday.
While the search continued yesterday morning, the bodies of the two young men, aged 22, were seen by a walker around 13:30 p.m. Alerted immediately, the coast guards arrived on the scene and recovered the bodies.
The doctor noted the death of the two people by drowning. _AF
