The Clean Saint-Martin Association was busy last weekend with a new major cleaning operation organized on the Marigot Sea Front.
Throughout the morning of Sunday, the many volunteers (congratulations to them for their eco-citizen involvement) collected a large number of garbage of all kinds accumulated on the Marigot Sea Front.
The people in charge of the Association would like to thank all the people who responded for this great action.
Note that this day was organized in partnership with the Judicial Protection of Youth.
Always invested in participating in actions to raise awareness of respect for the environment, the members of the Clean Saint-Martin Association wish to make the population aware of the disastrous consequences of litter on the environment.
In all its forms, this waste represents the risk of direct contamination of many natural sites and ecosystems. They directly threaten all forms of wildlife that are attracted to this waste and can be killed or injured by the plastic bags, wrappers, cans, cigarette butts, food and other forms of waste discarded by humans.
It is up to the people of Saint-Martin to become aware of this!_AF
