The Union for Democracy (UD) created its UD Youth section last Saturday, bringing together all UD members aged 16 to 36. During its general assembly, it was Jean-Sébastien Hamlet - 32 years old, computer scientist - who was elected president, congratulated by Daniel Gibbs. “The UD Jeunes was born from the will of young people from Saint-Martin” who “wish to participate in a structured political debate and be a real source of proposals for Saint-Martin”, explains the president of the political party.
