Noting a continuous improvement in monitoring indicators for the Covid-19 epidemic in Martinique, the government announced yesterday a gradual relaxation of control measures, in accordance with the review clause to which it had committed on November 24. .

From December 8, traffic restrictions will be lifted during the day. On the other hand, in order to limit the circulation of a virus which is still present, a night curfew will be established from 21 p.m. to 4 a.m. The exceptional travel certificate will therefore only be necessary during this time slot. Depending on how the epidemic situation evolves over the next two weeks, this curfew will be reviewed.

If the epidemiological indicators remain on the decline, from December 15, restaurants could reopen provided they strictly comply with a reinforced health protocol.
