LEISURE: Students from Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy gave their all for the aquathlon-relay organized in Grand-Case!

On Wednesday, June 21, four schools faced each other during an aquathlon-relay organized on the beach of Grand-Case.

The objective of this event was to promote the acquisition of swimming skills, which is a national priority (the teaching of "swimming skills" and swimming takes place with a view to building the skills of physical and sports education throughout schooling, editor's note) and provide students with an innovative experience as part of the support and accompaniment system for educational units called IDEAS (Identify, Diagnose, Engage, Accompany and Be accompanied, Track milestones).

The Elie Gibs and Marie-Antoinette Richards elementary schools, the Soualiga college and the Gustavia school group were present for this event.

A real nice sporting meeting that marks time for cycle 3 students as part of Olympic and Paralympic Day scheduled for Friday June 23rd.

The National Education Services of the Northern Islands would like to thank the teachers of Gustavia who spent the day with the students in Saint-Martin on their free time, as well as the parents for their involvement in the event. Finally, a big congratulations to all the participants, they deserve it! _AF
