Saint-Martin League: New qualified educators and referees in the spotlight!

0

The great family of Saint-Martin football recently met at the Stone House Café in Marigot to honor their new teachers and referees who have just graduated.

As a preamble, the President of the Saint-Martin League, Fabrice Baly congratulated all of the leaders, educators and volunteer referees who work every weekend for the smooth running of the various senior and young competitions.

Then came Hervé Happy (Technical Advisor) to speak and present the educator diploma to the three recipients.

Love to transmit, love to share, love to give, love to take care of others, such is the mission of the football educator: a vocation.

The educational mission of the football educator is essential: to transmit "know-how" and "know-how". For this, it is necessary to know the child, his characteristics, knowing how to take into account his age, his abilities, in a word practice a pedagogy of encouragement and success.

Play is the child's main activity. Playing is an essential, vital need that is born in every child. The awakening and initiation of the football player through play are therefore the main objectives of grassroots football.

Learning through play is the mission of football educators. By playing, the child learns with pleasure. Play is therefore an extraordinary tool for psychomotor development, allowing children to overcome their apprehensions, free themselves, take initiatives, risks and invent.

In summary, playing football must be pure happiness for children with their educator!

Congratulations to Karine Onofaro, holder of CFF 1 and CFF 2. Louis Fernandes and Frédéric Gonzales are holders of CFF 1.

Another highlight of the evening was the intervention of Lou Baly, the living memory of Saint-Martin football. The latter returned to the very essential role of the referee in the practice of football.

Without the man in black, football would not exist. "Respect the referees!" "

His friend, Charles Apatout, president of the arbitration commission, paid tribute to his mentor "Lou" before presenting the certificates to the nine new arbitrators. Special mention to Mélissa Cherlius, first woman referee for a long time in Saint-Martin! _AF
