This is good news for the tourist activity of the island. The government has just announced the lifting of compelling reasons between Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Martin and the Metropolis from June 9. For the sister island of Saint-Barthélemy, the date has been set for May 19!

In terms of travel, people going to France from Saint-Martin will no longer have to provide a PCR test. On the other hand, travelers will have to present the negative results of a PCR test when departing from Paris, including those who have been vaccinated. These same vaccinated people will be exempt from self-isolation for 7 days upon their return to the island, unlike unvaccinated people.
