Last Sunday, the associations Madtwoz Family and Clean St Martin organized a major cleaning of the beach at Sandy Ground, which was also joined by the Youth Council of the city of Mulhouse and the young Leo of the Lions Club of St Martin.
Awareness, education and motivation were on the program for this beautiful sunny morning. A truck filled with garbage bags and a bunch of bulky items were able to be evacuated from this place frequented by the inhabitants of the neighborhood. Bravo to all these nature-loving volunteers for their investment and their effectiveness on the site.
Let us now bet that this operation made everyone aware of the pollution caused by plastic, in particular the ravages of disposable packaging.
Polluters only have to beware.
