The national magazine Le Nouveau Détective devotes the front page of its latest issue to be released this week to the Jean-Louis Turquin affair. The New Detective invites its readers to discover "the story of Jean-Louis Turquin, convicted of infanticide and found dead by a bullet in the head ...". The magazine uses a shock title: "She could not stand living with a child killer", in reference to Nadine Turquin, the widow, who was indicted at the end of her custody. She had been questioned by investigators in Guadeloupe about the powder which had been discovered on her hands on the evening of the homicide. Nadine Turquin denied having killed her husband but could not explain the trace of the powder. In less than a year, this is the third news item in Saint-Martin that the magazine Le Nouveau Détective highlights.
