The departmental council of Savoie wished to help the Collectivity of Saint-Martin for the reconstruction of its infrastructures. It thus voted in aid of up to 50 euros.
The COM has decided to use this sum to rehabilitate the roofs of the Mont des Accords college, the total cost of which is 1,09 million euros. The aid will be released on presentation of proof that work has started. An agreement between the two territories must be signed to validate the operation.
The COM had already received 360 euros in donations from the association of mayors of Martinique and Guadeloupe for the reconstruction of the Omer Arrondell school and the college in Quartier d'Orléans as well as for that of the polyvalent high school of the North Islands.
