Yesterday morning, a 3,90 meter white shark was caught in the Saint-Paul bay, 16 meters deep, reports the Réunion 1ère channel. It is the first time that this species has been identified in the waters of the island. As a precautionary measure, the Regional Committee for Marine Fisheries and Marine Education of La Réunion (CRPMEM) decided to catch it.
