Make victim assistance even more accessible. This is the objective of the partnership agreement signed between the gendarmerie and the Trait d'Union association on Friday 5 May at the premises of the Marigot brigade. From Monday May 15, Hélène Bordas, the association's lawyer, will be on call every two weeks, from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m., alternately * in Quartier d'Orléans then in Marigot (the first Mondays of the month at the brigade of Marigot and the third Monday of the month at the Quartier d'Orléans brigade). As during a complaint, victims can go to the gendarmerie where they will be referred to the lawyer to benefit from a free, personalized and confidential interview. "This is a small but significant step forward in taking victims into account," considers Commander Sébastien Manzoni. And Jean-Marie Thévenet, the president of Trait d'Union adds: "We are not here to mourn with the victims but to help them obtain compensation for the damage they have suffered" More details on www.soualigapost.com
