Parliament adopted definitively at the beginning of the month the bill on the modernization of overseas law, providing in particular for the end of roaming charges. Concretely, the additional costs linked to voice calls and SMS, between the Overseas Territories and the mainland, will be a thing of the past as of January 1. The deputy of the Northern Islands Daniel Gibbs and the president of the Guadeloupe region Victorin Lurel welcomed this measure.
