A couple decides to make counterfeit dollar bills with a digital printer. With one of his friends, he is going to sell the change in restaurants in Grand Case between January and March 2017. One of the managers of establishments realizes that two of the three tickets they received, are false and files a complaint .
The three people were summoned last week to the Saint-Martin Criminal Court.
They admitted during the investigation to have printed counterfeit tickets not to sell them in restaurants but to buy drugs. The deputy prosecutor demanded two months in prison against the friend and the wife. However, the husband was asked to be acquitted because he was nowhere to be found. Indeed, the identity communicated is not the right one and does not correspond to anyone. While the couple said they were married, no marriage certificate could be found.
The court followed the prosecution's requisitions.
