On the evening of May 5, a couple residing in downtown Marigot separates. But it happens between them.
After taking his things to his ex-mother-in-law, the young man leaves but will be followed in the car by the one who has become his ex. They will stop at Cupecoy and the Lowlands; the young will hit her ex. Later that night, the couple returned to Marigot where the gendarmes were called and were insulted by the young woman. The story will end on the road to Baie rouge. Still followed by sound, the young man hits a wall and has an accident. The young woman is being prosecuted for violence, insulting the gendarmes and destruction of the car which was a rental car. The deputy prosecutor requested a ten-month suspended prison sentence. After deliberation, the court pronounces a suspended sentence of four months in prison and the obligation to compensate the manager of the rental car company and to pay damages to the gendarmes.
