AIDS day: let's all be mobilized

As you know, the mobilization against AIDS started last Saturday at Sandy Ground on the initiative of several associations. Awareness actions will continue throughout the week in Saint-Martin.

Yesterday, Minister of Health Marisol Touraine launched a communication campaign in favor of screening. The Minister recalled on this occasion that the condom is the best means of prevention against HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Entitled "Getting tested is taking care of your future", this campaign was carried out by the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education (Inpes). Today, Ms. Touraine is expected in a screening center of the Aides association, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.

Here is the program of actions in Saint-Martin

Today

• At the Fleming Hospital, in Concordia: screening with the trodibus and prevention stands, including “Prevention of early pregnancy” and “Pregnancy and HIV”.

9 am-13pm: with Aides, CIDDIST, Neighborhood Council n ° 4, “I love my Neighborhood”, “Chrétiens et Sida” and “Maternité Active”. A “Let's talk about” T-shirt will be offered after each screening.

The screening center will receive high school and college students for a video projection / debates.

• At the Social Security agency, in Concordia: awareness and screening

8am-30pm: with the AIDS association / Dangerous Liaisons

> Tomorrow

• To the association for the fight against exclusion and delinquency (ACED), in Concordia: information and screening stands

9am-12pm

• At the Hôtel de la Collectivité, in Marigot: awareness and screening

8h30-12h : with the association Sida / Les Liaisons Dangereuses

> Thursday

• To the Le Manteau association: screening

8:30 am-12pm: with the Sida / Les Liaisons association

• At the Cul-de-Sac pier: screening and prevention stand

14 p.m. - 18 p.m .: with Helpers

• At the central pharmacy, in Marigot: awareness and screening

From 20 p.m .: screening and prevention stand with Helpers and nurses from the hospital center.

Two tickets will be on sale:

- 1 ticket at 30 € (buffet and entertainment from 20 p.m.)

- 1 ticket at 10 € (entertainment from 22 p.m.)
