Postponed following various events, the Sports Festival on the theme “Everyone at the O with the energy of the wind and the family body” took place from October 19 to 21. Organized by the sports association of the Collège Mont des Accords and subsidized by the Regional Directorate for Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion, this action made the nautical activities available to the college available to a public of young people and school children.
On Friday, 43 students of the first degree (a class of CM1 and one of CM2) discovered the practice of kayaking in Marigot Bay, accompanied by 3 teachers and 4 parents of students. On Saturday afternoon, two associations answered the call: the Cobraced with 12 young people from 8 to 12 years old and the Manteau de Saint-Martin with 16 young people from 10 to 15 years old and their educators.
This operation was also an opportunity to sensitize young people to health issues (mainly food / nutrition) thanks to the intervention of the Youth Health Space of the association Dangerous Liaisons. _AV
