The 3rd edition of this trophy organized by the specialist group for overseas freight took place this weekend.
On Saturday, more than 50 players took the ferry to “drive” the magnificent fairways of the Cuisinart d'Anguilla golf course, after a hearty breakfast “O diving board”.
After the warm-up everyone started off at the end of the morning to complete the 18 holes in a festive atmosphere.
Around 16 p.m. the first results fell. No big performances, nor big advances were to be noted for this first day. The second day at Mullet Bay was going to designate the winners. On Sunday morning the players started simultaneously at 2 am, each group on a hole start (shot gun formula). Invited by SAS / LV OVERSEAS, some came from Guadeloupe for this great annual meeting. The weather was ideal and the wind moderate.
At noon, the games ended. Gauthier Monroux won the Trophy in 1st series, Claude Levy in 2nd series and Bénédicte Monroux in Ladies.
Everyone met at Dreams to regain strength before the awards ceremony. A beautiful day for lovers of golf and good atmosphere. Results: 1st series: 1st brut G. Monroux. 1st net A.Haillant, 2nd J.
