Chantal Wiertz, first vice-dauphine of Miss Universe Curaçao in 2019, received her scarf on May 23 from the hands of Kyrsha Attaf, Miss Curaçao 2019 and was officially named Miss Universe Curaçao 2020-2021
Chantal was born on February 26, 1999 in the Netherlands and moved in October 2013 with her family to Curaçao. She started beauty pageants at a very young age and did her first fashion show at the age of 10.
At 17, she made her first international shoot in Miami. The following year, she signed several modeling contracts and traveled to China, Japan and Singapore. She worked in China for a while and also in many other countries.
The lovely young girl was in Saint-Martin last year, staying at the Hommage hotel (formerly Mercure) for a week-long photo shoot with the photographer, Jean Jarreau.
Photos were taken of Pinel Islet, Marigot, Philipsburg and other locations on "Friendly Island".
She also traveled a day to Saint Barth with another model and Jean Jarreau for photo shoots.
Chantal will now participate in the competition Miss universe world at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
Other photo sessions are planned on his return to Saint-Martin.
