On Monday, April 30, the company of Gendarmerie de Saint-Martin-Saint-Barthélemy received the visit of General Jean-Marc Descoux, commander of the gendarmerie of Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands.
On this occasion, the general moved within the barracks of La Savane and Marigot in order to meet there the permanent staff, the seconded on short-term mission as well as the mobile gendarmes of the EGM 13/5 Sathonnay- Camp and the personnel of the Intervention Platoon of the security and honor company 3 / II of the Republican Guard.
The general also met with Mrs. Anne LAUBIES, delegated prefect and Mrs. Régine PAM, sub-prefect as well as Mr. Yawo Nyuiadzi, 2nd vice-president of the Collectivity in order to discuss the files brought by the gendarmerie on the island as the project of establishment of the modular brigade in Grand-Case.
