Recently, the Nautical Brigade of Saint-Martin has destroyed illegal fishing traps installed off Baie aux Prunes.
This control and destruction action is part of the environmental police.
The fish discovered in the traps were released with the exception of Lions fish, considered pests in the Caribbean.
As for the lockers, they were immediately returned to the quays. AF
