Gastronomy: 5th edition of the “Chefs Night” at Sonesta Maho

From October 2 to 5, the chefs' evening will take place for the fifth time at the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort. A gastronomic event that will highlight the talents of a group of international chefs. If it's 5rd edition of the “Chefs Night” in Sint Maarten, this event celebrates the 10th anniversary of its creation in Sweden.

The “Chefs Night” was created by the Swedish chef Görgen Tiden who owns and runs the restaurant Görgen in Sweden. This chef has worked around the world and collaborated with starred chefs like Alain Llorca. The various “Chefs Night” dinners will take place from October 2 to 5, 2019, and will feature various restaurants at the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort.

The gastronomic evenings will offer menus inspired by the Scandinavian heritage and will celebrate the local flavors of the island and the Caribbean using regional products and ingredients.

The opening dinner will take place on Wednesday October 2 at the Azul restaurant and the following day will take place a candlelit dinner, on the pool terrace of the Point restaurant, for an intimate outdoor dining experience. Two possibilities are offered for the evening of Friday, October 4, first the Sunset Lounge & Bar, with its sophisticated open-air lounge with the participation of chefs, and a VIP candlelit dinner on the Point's pool terrace. Saturday evening will take place, at the Azul restaurant, the closing dinner of the “Chefs Night” with the opportunity to discover new culinary experiences.
