Since the start of the gastroenteritis epidemic, 1.236 cases have been evaluated in Saint Martin.
The weekly number of consultations for gastroenteritis is always higher than the maximum expected values, notes the Interregional Epidemiological Unit (CIRE). However, the epidemic is tending to decrease in our territory, but also in Saint-Barthélemy, according to the last bulletin, where 240 cases have been estimated. "It remains important to continue to apply all the measures aimed at limiting the spread of the germs at the origin of this epidemic and mainly the very regular washing of hands", specifies the cell.
