In partnership with the FORE IDN training center, an auto mechanic apprenticeship training has been set up for all young people wishing to obtain a diploma in this sector. More than ten mechanics were contacted to improve the skills of at least 10 apprentices on the island.
At the origin of this initiative, the services of the National Gendarmerie are also committed to providing their auto workshop for the final exam. Thanks to this action, the FORE center opened a new training course in auto mechanics.
This training will begin on January 17, 2022. Any young person aged 16 to 29 and who wishes to take this opportunity to benefit from this free and qualifying device is invited to submit their CV to:

This is a real opportunity for the young people selected who will also be remunerated because they have signed an employment contract with the possibility of recruitment in the long term.
State services are continuing their commitment to the young people of Saint-Martin with all the economic and social actors and partners in the area. Since September, the FORE IDN center has enabled 32 young people to sign contracts of work.
